last friday night, i found a short faded blue jeans of mine in my cupboard. i bought it when i was on junior high school, so it’s exactly about 8 or 9 years ago. feels so excited about what i found, i immediately wore it. guess what? the jeans feels very loose in me that i look so geeky when i’m wearing it. wow, either the jeans getting bigger or me getting smaller. i tought it would be fun if i cut it and make it shorter then i folded the bottom part and sewed it. fyi, the length of the jeans is fitted at my knee, i cut it for about 11.5 cm.
the equipments, oh and i forgot to engage my ruler in this photo haha.
and this is my creation. i chose tusuk tikam jejak to stitched my jeans.
tusuk tikam jejak is a kind of stitches made by hand which having similarities in pattern as we sew by sewing machine. i applied tusuk tikam jejak in order to make a strong stitches. I chose pink thread to make a color contrast with the blue jeans. i know you won’t believe that i can do the needlework haha. just don’t judge a book by it’s cover ;p i have learned about lots of stitch patterns when i was 12 years old and learned about cross stitch when I was on elementary :)
afterall, needlework is fun. btw I’m using my short jeans right now :D
